Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions
How we work, who we work with, and how to get started.
We work with NGOs, corporate CSI divisions and foundations, family trusts, high-net-worth individuals, boards and executives, and internal corporate foundations across South Africa and the African continent.
Never. We work alongside your team, not instead of them. Our role is to consult, advise, and mentor so that your people are better equipped, more confident, and more capable over time.
Consulting is the strategic and advisory work - frameworks, governance, strategy. Mentoring works directly with the people - executives, fundraising leads, board members - building their judgment, confidence, and capability so the organisation becomes stronger from the inside out. We offer both in one integrated relationship.
We offer four flexible engagement models: Embedded Consulting (ongoing), Advisory & Mentoring, Project-Based Consulting (targeted deliverables), and Interim Advisory Support (short-term). We adapt to where you are and what you need.
Yes. We guide organisations through foundation establishment, legal structure selection (Trust, NPC, or Foundation), PBO registration through SARS, and compliance with Section 18A regulations to unlock tax incentives for donors.
From individual letters of intention through to full income strategy reviews. We help teams shift from activity reporting to outcome reporting, build pre-approved document libraries, design donor cultivation strategies, and create campaign plans. Your team leads the work - we consult, advise, and mentor alongside them.
